reopening of ddislandRe-opening next month after a $100m redevelopment, the new premium Daydream Island Resort will be an island paradise for romantics, families and groups alike.

Complimentary island activities include Rainforest walks, fish feeding at The Living Reef, Catamarans, Kayaks and stand up paddle boarding. For a cost, guests can experience the Living Reef up close by signing up to be an island marine biologist for a day or take one of their guided snorkel tours.

Fancy advancing your cooking skills? Both adults and children can experience one of the many culinary classes at Daydream, whether that’s learning the Japanese art of Teppanyaki at the brand new Asian-fusion restaurant Infinity, or embracing the natural flavours of Australia at Inkstone Kitchen & Bar.

To experience the stunning surrounding Whitsunday Islands and world-famous Great Barrier Reef, guests can experience many of the off-island tours Daydream has to offer such as their Daydream half-day Whitehaven beach tour – Travel directly from Daydream to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach on a brand-new vessel purpose built for Daydream guests (pictured).

Enjoy morning or afternoon tea and 2 ½ hours on the beach to swim, stroll, play or relax. Is seeing the Whitsundays by air on your bucket list? Why not take up one of their heli-tours to either Whitehaven Beach or the famous Heart Reef. Other tours include full day tours to Whitehaven, Camira sailing experiences and Hamilton Island and Whitehaven Beach tours with Cruise Whitsundays.
