3 whales headed north as seen from aboveWith the whale season officially starting in Noosa, we welcome two new experiences to take you out to see the annual migration of our Humpback Whales. The whale season runs from June to November, with over 30,000 whales migrating north to seek warmer waters. Join one of our tours to experience these majestic mammals breach and frolic with their newly born calves. 

Noosa Oceanrider is a jetboat ride offering small group touring and seats a maximum of 12 passengers. There are three different tours to choose from depending on your level of adrenalin seeking adventure. New to Oceanrider is a 2-hour whale watching experience as you witness the majestic beauty of the Humpback Whale in Noosa’s aquatic playground. This slower-paced cruise operates from July to October and provides a stunning vista of the Noosa landscape whilst you enjoy a spectacular display of breaching, tail lobs and pectoral slaps.

Noosa Wave offers touring in a brand-new vessel equipped with the latest ultra-low emission 425hp Yamaha engines. Join the Ocean Blast ride for an immediate thrill with giant turns and jumping waves with speed.

For a life-changing experience, swim with the Humpback Whales in their natural habitat from July to October. Departing from Noosa River, you will head out into the open ocean for 2.5 hours of jaw-dropping memories. All gear is supplied, just bring your swimmers and a towel and immerse yourself in underwater sightings of whales, dolphins, manta rays and sea turtles.
