Our Chris Etheridge, Senior Account Executive attended the 25th-anniversary Travel Counsellors conference representing our client the Central Coast Tourism Council with Visit California.
Special guests included Vernon Kay, Dara Ó Briain, Paloma Faith, Belle Voci, Only Men Allowed and Gary Barlow.
Chris Etheridge, Senior Account Executive hosted six travel agents and journalists out to Oakland and Santa Cruz in September. Key highlights for the trip include an LGBT Docent Tour at the Museum of California in Oakland and Goat Yoga in Santa Cruz.
Rob joined SLC in March 2019 and was appointed to manage the TMG Hospitality portfolio throughout Vietnam. After graduating from Bournemouth University, he spent 10 months travelling off the beaten track throughout South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. From here, he re-routed his career plans into the Travel Industry and has not looked back since.
He started his Travel career at STA Travel based out the flagship London Victoria store as a Travel Expert before progressing to assistant manager between the High street Kensington and Victoria stores combined.
Rob joined SLC after a successful 3 years representing an independent travel specialist tour operator – Bamba Experience – where he worked as a senior business development manager managing the UK Trade market and gaining industry knowledge on his journey.
Rob’s passion for Travel continues with exploring the next best destinations for Sun, Adventure, Ski, Culture, meeting the locals and sampling the food and drink around the world.
When he’s not planning his next trip, you will find Rob taking hikes, bike rides, socialising with friends and being Welsh, of course – supporting the Welsh rugby team at any opportunity.
